So if you missed Church yesterday then you will have missed a huge pile of food. After church we hung out, ate food, and talked to each other. If you were not there you would have missed out on these incredible curry ball thingies that Malik and Preethika bought along.
Seriously, those things were so good I nearly cried. So, we will have another after church party on March 28th and Preethika will only be allowed in the building if she brings those curry ball thingies again. Seriously, no curry ball thingies then no entry.
Anyhoo, here are some curry ball nuggets of news for you delectation:
Colin is in St Petersburg (that’s in Russia which is near Croydon) this week where the temperature is -27 degrees. That is colder than a politicians heart. He is away a lot over March, so pray that he is effective in what he does and doesn’t get frostbite (although his trip to Dubai should sort that out!).
Alpha - Continues every Wednesday evening. Pray for the team. We want to see people saved and added.
Podcasts - You can now get all CCM sermons via itunes. Go to the itunes store click on podcasts and search for christ church manchester. You will then be able to sign up to our podcasts and get sermons downloaded to itunes. Coolio!
Have a quality week and always remember that you should never ever…

Good Day to you Sir and/or Madam, We have had a cracking week at Christ Church Manchester.
On Wednesday Alpha had 20 guests, one of whom came on Sunday morning. How cool is that? Very cool indeed.
On Saturday the third CCM worship conference took place. 150+ people turned up on the day, Dave Holden was very good indeed as Phil Wilthew. We had some fantastic times of worship and the presence of God was almost tangible.
So you want some news nuggets? Yeah you do.
After Church Party - This Sunday after church we will eat food together. There will be a Wii set up and a DVD playing for the kids. Please remember to bring the food you have been allocated. I am looking forward to hanging out with out having to rush off.
Alpha - Continues every Wednesday evening. Pray for the team. Wouldnt it be amazing of we saw some peope get saved and added? That is why we are here.

Good Morning Beautiful CCM People, I hope your weekend was relaxing, fun filled and filled you with energy for the week ahead. I was away at a student workers conference. I had a great time, although at one point I managed to offend the entire conference. Lets just say that sometimes my mouth works a lot quicker than my brain.
Anyhoo, the big news this week is WORSHIP CONFERENCE!!!!! It is on Saturday, that’s right this Saturday. We kick of at 10am and finish at 4pm. Dave Holden will be speaking (according to Colin, Dave is so old he helped write the bible) as will Phil Wilthew. Our very own Alistair Metcalfe will be hosting the event. Septembers worship event was awesome so I would recommend you attend on Saturday. Book in by emailing - .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
The other news is - After Church Party! On Sunday 21st February we will stay after church for an extra hour or so. We will eat food together, talk to each other and make jokes at Colin’s expense. This will involve a little administration. So on Sunday I will hand out slips of paper with an item of food or drink on so that we can all share. Admit it, you are excited already!
You can now follow CCM on twitter!
Anyways have an excellent week. And while you are working hard remember this - As a child I was walking through town with my parents, when an old lady barged past us and then tripped over. My Dad laughed at her. Explains a lot.
