Sunday 22 February: Church at Gorton

Standing in Gorton and looking towards the hotel dominating the Manchester skyline, it was a reminder of God’s heart for us, to see a church grow in the east that has a positive effect on the city of Manchester.

This Sunday, members of Christ Church Manchester gathered at Trinity Baptist Church, Gorton for an afternoon meeting followed by plenty of food. It was great to welcome some new guests to the church and enjoy the easy-going atmosphere that the team created. Adam led worship and Andy preached.

With a mini-bus going from Gorton to our main meeting at Hyde most Sundays, it was an excellent opportunity to be in the area where a number of CCM people live.
