Worship and Leadership Conference Review

Last was a busy weekend for Christ Church Manchester.

We ran our 4th Worship and Leadership conference at Hyde Town Hall. We had a great range of speakers from across Newfrontiers including David Stroud who leads Christ Church London Newfrontiers UK and Jeremy Simpkins who leads Christ Central in Manchester as well as looking after a number of churches across Northern England, Scotland, Ireland and Canada!

We had a wonderful time of worship that was led by Alistair Metcalfe and Kelani Koyejo who we are blessed to have with us at CCM. It was great to give them a chance in front of a different crowd and they showed themselves to be gifted worship leaders indeed.

David Stroud taught us well on the day and gave some fantastic pointers on being intentional with our worship times. The MP3s from the day will be posted online soon.

Thanks to all those who helped out on Saturday. We look forward to revealing our plans for the next few Worship and Leadership Conferences.

Sunday was also a very busy day and I will write about that tomorrow.

Worship in the Presence of God

Moses knew that what sets God’s people apart is not our practice, but his presence. Join us on September 25 for a day of intimate worship and inspiring teaching as we learn more of what it means to be a people of his presence.

Addressing us on the day will be David Stroud, leader of Newfrontiers UK, and a team of key leaders of churches and worship teams from across the North of England. Praise and worship will be led by the CCM worship team.

Delegates are also invited to attend two of the following practical sessions:
• Keys to leading and discipling a Spirit‐led worship team
• Rasing up gifted leaders for Sundays and other gatherings
• How to encourage more and better Spirit‐led contributions
• Faith for writing and introducing new songs
• Handling the presence of God in our meetings (leaders’ track)
• Growing a leadership culture shaped by God’s presence (leaders’ track)

As always, we’ll close with an extended time of worship and ministry to build you up and raise your faith. Don’t miss this special day.

Tickets cost just £10 per person. A discount is available for teams: every 4 people booked in entitles you to 1 extra place free. As word spreads, our worship days are getting increasingly busy so we strongly recommend you book in advance to guarantee places for your team.

Venue
Hyde Town Hall is easy to Wind, just off the M67 (postcode for sat nav - SK14 1AL). There is plenty of parking and places to buy lunch nearby. Drinks will be provided through the day. This event is hosted by Christ Church Manchester, a Newfrontiers church. But whatever church you’re from, we’d love to see you on the day.
