CCM this October: A Passionate Culture
Colin Baron
It is so uplifting and energising when you visit or join a group of people who are passionate for their cause.
This is so different to half-hearted people who often lack conviction and motivation. I sometimes hear football commentators talk about the home supporters as ‘the extra man’, as their amazing passion and enthusiasm spurs the team on to greater things.
A church full of passionate people is motivational to be in. They provide an environment where your spirit can be lifted, even after a hard and difficult week. Getting involved seems natural and rewarding.
So, CCM’s October preaching series is on ‘A Passionate Culture’. The four themes will open up some of the biblical truths that produce a passionate people:
Excited – by a great vision (Oct 4), Captivated - by Jesus (Oct 11), Enjoying – life as a God’s child (Oct 18), Wholeheartedly – serving his purposes (Oct 25).

That’s just a glimpse of the first of four very motivational sermons. I am so looking forward to this part of the series on culture, believing that we will see the fruit in all of our lives, as we allow them to challenge and shape us.
